No speed enforcement on North Prospect

Where is the enforcement of speed limits on Prospect between Touhy & Oakton? Cars speed up and down at speeds of 40 to 50 miles an hour and there are no deterrents to stop these dangerous drivers who use Prospect as a highway endangering anyone who lives, parks & walks there. What used to be a classic boulevard type street has become a overloaded thoroughfare for
trucks and cars from surrounding towns and cities. I have wriiten to the Mayor about this and have called the police countless times but there has been nothing done to stop the inconsiderate
abusers who speed up and down and get irate if they are behind someone who is actually driving the 25 mile an hour speed limit. I say no turns off Oakton and Touhy between morning and evening rush hour as well as speed bumps if the police & mayor can not or do not care to enforce the 25 mile an hour speed limit. I mean what are they doing all day anyway? maybe there are not enough "influential" residents that live on Prospect for the city to care about even though we are paying some of the highest taxes to support our towns governmental salaries. They need to quit worring about if a garage is 5 feet behind the front of a house and worring more about the safety and concerns of the tax paying residents that pay their salaries.

Yes, I agree. I also notice that the traffic has gotten much worse on Prospect.I can not even mow my parkway grass without the fear of a speeding car jumping the curb after stopping at the stop sign.
I very rarely see police enforcing anything on Prospect. They should make no left turns from Touhy and Oakton onto Propsect during rush hour times.

Goodness it's amazing there hasn't been any action here since the summer.

Maybe we need to change it to something else.
